Torvosaurus

Torvosaurus tanneri was the greatest theropod during the Jurassic, rivaling the well-known Tyrannosaurus rex in size. Its fossil remains are elusive in the Morrison Formation and few specimens are documented. Presently the remains of Elvis that have been found are: three arm bones, pieces of the skull, vertebrae, hip and hand bones, all totaling less than a third of a Torvosaurus skeleton. An accurate absolute size range for Torvosaurus is not known, because of the incomplete material on hand. However, there is speculation that an estimated 10-12 meters long (36 ft) would not be unrealistic.
